At this year’s Taipei International Computer Show (Computex 2025), PNY revealed three new models from its upcoming Iron Core series of high-end graphics cards, based on NVIDIA’s next-generation GeForce RTX 50 lineup. The showcased models included what appear to be RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 units, as well as a dual-slot RTX 5070 Ti variant. These graphics cards were also notable for bearing the signature of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, adding a layer of exclusivity to the presentation.

The Iron Core series stands out with its highly reflective, chrome-like finish, which gives the cards a distinctive, polished appearance not commonly seen in mainstream GPU designs. While the overall structural mold seems to share similarities with previous PNY graphics card designs, the new series features several cosmetic changes that set it apart.
The two larger cards on display — likely the RTX 5090 and 5080 — carry a mirror-finish exterior with sharply defined edges and a premium aesthetic. The centrally placed RTX 5070 Ti is noticeably slimmer, adopting a dual-slot layout and a more compact design that could be better suited for mid-tower or small form factor PC builds. This model is expected to appeal to users who need high performance without compromising on space or thermals.
During the event, a PNY representative told tech media outlet Wccftech that the Iron Core series will be released in limited quantities. The company is aiming for a targeted, enthusiast-level segment rather than a mass-market launch. Given the reflective nature of the chrome surface, PNY also confirmed that the retail versions of these cards will be treated with a specialized coating to reduce fingerprint smudging and maintain a clean appearance even with frequent handling.
This move seems to reflect a growing trend among graphics card manufacturers to differentiate premium-tier GPUs not just through performance but also through design. While detailed specifications for these Iron Core models were not disclosed at the event, the physical presence of RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti versions strongly suggests that these SKUs are part of NVIDIA’s initial GeForce RTX 50 series rollout.
No official release date or pricing details have been provided yet. However, based on the unveiling at Computex and the limited production note, the Iron Core series will likely be positioned as collector-grade or enthusiast hardware, aimed at early adopters and users who value both aesthetics and exclusivity.
More information is expected to be released in the coming weeks as PNY and NVIDIA prepare for the formal launch of the RTX 50 series later this year.
