Xiaomi Unveils TV S Pro 2027 With 360Hz RGB Mini LED Displays and 5,000-Nit Brightness

Xiaomi has revealed more details about its TV S Pro 2027 Series, and the new lineup is aimed at buyers looking for a large-screen TV with high refresh rates and advanced Mini LED backlighting. The series will launch in China with 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch models, while every model in the standard lineup will support a refresh rate of up to 360Hz. Pre-orders are already open in China ahead of the September 2026 launch.

The biggest change for the 2027 generation is Xiaomi’s move to RGB Mini LED technology. Unlike conventional Mini LED backlighting, the RGB system allows each control zone to adjust red, green and blue light independently. Xiaomi says the new TVs can offer up to 4,860 color-control zones, compared with a maximum of 3,864 zones on the previous generation. This should give the TVs more control over brightness and color reproduction, particularly in scenes with strong contrast.

Xiaomi is also targeting high-end HDR performance with a peak brightness rating of 5,000 nits across the range. The TVs support 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, while the Chinese-market models also feature a low-reflection display rated at 0.5% LR. The 65-inch version has 2,160 color-control zones, while the 98-inch model increases that figure to 4,860.

Gaming is another major focus. The 360Hz refresh rate is available through the TVs’ Competitive Mode, although users should not expect 360Hz at 4K resolution. At 4K, the displays operate at up to 120Hz with MEMC. Xiaomi also includes VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which should help reduce tearing and improve frame pacing when the TVs are connected to compatible gaming hardware.

Inside, the TV S Pro 2027 series uses a quad-core Arm Cortex-A73-based platform paired with Xiaomi’s XM900 image-processing chip. The system comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Connectivity includes four HDMI 2.1 ports and a USB 3.0 Type-A port, giving users several options for connecting consoles, gaming PCs, and other high-bandwidth devices.

The TVs also include a 130W 2.1.2-channel speaker system, along with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. Xiaomi is using a slim design for the lineup, while its 65-inch model is listed with a 49.7mm metal body and support for a 5mm ultra-thin wall-mounted installation.
