Best Buy has quietly listed a new mid-range graphics card from PNY: the GeForce RTX 5060 Overclocked 8 GB GDDR7 PCI Express 5.0 Graphics Card, Black Edition. This marks one of the first retail appearances of a non-Ti RTX 5060 model, even before NVIDIA has made an official launch announcement.
The product listing suggests a price of $299.99, just above NVIDIA’s expected baseline MSRP of $299 for the RTX 5060 series. While NVIDIA introduced the GeForce RTX 5060 desktop family earlier this year, specific launch dates were notably absent. However, industry sources and media speculation now point to a possible unveiling during Computex 2025, with May 19 emerging as a potential date for both announcement and retail availability.

The card listed by Best Buy appears to be a dual-fan, factory-overclocked variant from PNY, with a straightforward design that avoids unnecessary bulk. The cooling solution is relatively compact, which may appeal to users building in smaller cases, although it maintains a standard-length PCIe interface, unlike some of the shorter designs from other partners like GIGABYTE.
According to data compiled by GPU monitoring platforms, the RTX 5060 non-Ti is expected to use the GB206 GPU, featuring 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. While this configuration may not aim to impress high-end gaming enthusiasts or professional users, it could serve well in mainstream gaming systems where budget and power efficiency are key factors.

PNY had previously mentioned the RTX 5060 series in promotional materials back in April, briefly referencing a single-fan variant, although no official images were shared at the time. The new dual-fan version listed on Best Buy includes an exploded view of the card’s internals, showing the heatsink and dual-fan assembly in more detail.
Review sample distribution appears to have started earlier this month, according to reports from VideoCardz and other outlets. However, the media has seen limited early access to these cards. The higher-end RTX 5060 Ti, which launched at $379, did not receive broad reviewer coverage, and several independent outlets had to purchase cards directly to conduct performance evaluations.

As of now, Best Buy is the only major retailer to have listed the RTX 5060 OC model from PNY, and no firm shipping date is provided. With just under two weeks until Computex begins, more listings from NVIDIA’s board partners may surface, alongside official word from the company.
Consumers interested in the new generation of mid-range GPUs may want to keep an eye on May 19, especially if NVIDIA and its partners proceed with a simultaneous announcement and retail rollout.
