COLORFUL has announced a new Memory Tuning feature for select Intel 800 series motherboards that aims to improve memory performance through a single BIOS setting. The new feature allows users to enable optimized memory settings with one click, removing the need for manual memory tuning. It will first be available on the BATTLE-AX B860M-PLUS S WIFI7 V20 motherboard, with support for more Intel 800 series models arriving through future BIOS updates.
According to COLORFUL, the Memory Tuning feature includes multiple optimization profiles that users can select directly from the motherboard BIOS. The company says the feature is designed to make memory optimization more accessible, especially for users who want additional performance without adjusting memory timings or voltages manually.
The company shared benchmark results based on AIDA64 memory testing, claiming that the feature delivers an overall improvement of more than 10% across several key memory metrics. These include read bandwidth, write bandwidth, copy bandwidth, and memory latency, all of which can contribute to improved system responsiveness in supported workloads.
COLORFUL also published gaming performance results using an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor paired with its iGame DDR5-8000 CL24 24GB×2 memory kit. During testing at Full HD resolution, Valorant recorded an average increase of 40 FPS, representing a 4.2% improvement, while Counter-Strike 2 gained an average of 21 FPS, or approximately 3.4%. The company added that minimum frame rates also improved during testing, helping deliver smoother gameplay.
Following its debut on the BATTLE-AX B860M-PLUS S WIFI7 V20, COLORFUL plans to expand Memory Tuning support to additional Intel 800 series motherboards through upcoming BIOS releases.

COLORFUL has not announced when the BIOS updates will become available for the remaining motherboard lineup. Users with supported Intel 800 series boards should keep an eye on future firmware releases to access the new one-click Memory Tuning feature once it becomes available.
