Epomaker Launches EM3 Wireless Gaming Mouse With Carbon-Fiber Composite Shell

Epomaker has launched its EM3 gaming mouse, bringing a lightweight 56g design, a PAW3315 optical sensor, and a magnetic charging dock to the gaming peripherals market. The new gaming mouse supports up to 16,000 DPI sensitivity and a 1000Hz polling rate, alongside three connectivity options for different gaming and desktop setups. Epomaker is also using a carbon-fiber and ABS composite construction for the top shell and buttons, giving the EM3 a different material approach while keeping its weight relatively low. The mouse is aimed at gamers who prefer a lightweight design, customizable controls, and the flexibility of wireless connectivity.

The EM3 uses a PAW3315 sensor with sensitivity reaching 16,000 DPI. It supports polling rates of up to 1000Hz in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, with four selectable polling rate levels available through its software. Users can configure additional settings through the web-based Epomaker Hub and Epomaker Driver 3.0, including the Fire Key function, button debounce, motion correction, and button response. A dedicated DPI button also provides access to six sensitivity levels, allowing users to change tracking speed without opening the software.

The mouse weighs approximately 56 grams and features a medium-sized body designed for small to medium hands, particularly users who prefer a claw grip. Its top shell and buttons use a carbon-fiber and ABS composite, while a fine spray coating is intended to provide a dry, tactile surface during extended use. Epomaker also claims that the conductive composite shell can be detected by capacitive touchscreens, supporting basic touch interactions such as swiping.

Another feature of the Epomaker EM3 is its magnetic charging dock, which charges the mouse through direct contact when placed on the base. The dock includes an integrated RGB lighting system and a dedicated physical button for controlling its lighting without requiring additional software. Epomaker also offers matching colors for the mouse and dock, with black, silver, and pink options available.

For connectivity, the EM3 supports USB wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth modes, making it compatible with different devices and operating environments. A built-in 600mAh battery provides power for wireless operation, while Windows and macOS compatibility allows it to work across multiple desktop platforms.

The Epomaker EM3 is now available through the company’s official website, Amazon, and AliExpress. It carries an official website price of $35.99, placing it in the affordable gaming mouse segment with a combination of a lightweight body, customizable controls, tri-mode connectivity, and a magnetic charging dock.
