AYANEO has shared a wide range of updates from its latest product session held on May 21, covering both new releases and progress on several upcoming handheld devices. The company continues to expand its presence in the portable gaming market with a mix of retro-inspired hardware and high-performance handheld systems aimed at different types of gamers.

A limited-edition version of the Pocket AIR Mini has been developed in collaboration with IGS and Arcade Home, emphasizing classic arcade gaming culture. This special variant comes with officially licensed retro titles and a design inspired by traditional arcade cabinets. It retains a compact 4.2-inch 4:3 display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset.

The handheld also features Hall-effect joysticks and triggers, paired with a 4,500 mAh battery aimed at extended gaming sessions. AYANEO’s software ecosystem comes preinstalled, alongside licensed IGS arcade games like Knights of Valour and Oriental Legend, plus a built-in emulator for additional titles. It will be offered in two configurations: 2 GB + 32 GB for $129.99 and 3 GB + 64 GB for $139.99, positioning it among the more budget-friendly options in AYANEO’s lineup.

The company also provided updates on its upcoming Pocket Block device, developed under its Konkr sub-brand. This vertical Android handheld takes inspiration from classic Game Boy-style designs and is expected to include AI-focused features alongside a compact form factor. While detailed specifications are still limited, the concept is aimed at users who prefer portrait-oriented gaming experiences combined with modern smartphone-like functionality.

Attention was also given to the Next 2, AYANEO’s flagship Windows handheld powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 platform. The company confirmed that development is progressing well, and June shipping remains on schedule despite earlier delays caused by rising material costs. Preorders were previously paused, but production on several components has already been completed. While new orders are not guaranteed, interested users can still register their preferences through customer support. The device itself is expected to feature a large 9.06-inch OLED display, dual-fan cooling system, and a 116.1 Wh battery, positioning it as one of the most powerful handhelds in development.

Alongside this, AYANEO also shared progress on the Pocket Play, a hybrid Android handheld designed with a smartphone-style layout. It features a 6.8-inch high-refresh OLED display, Dimensity 9300 chipset, dual touchpads, and a sliding control system designed to support both mobile and dedicated gaming use cases. The company describes it as a flexible device that blends everyday smartphone functionality with dedicated handheld gaming performance, and development is said to be moving steadily forward.
With these updates, AYANEO continues to diversify its lineup across retro, Android, and Windows-based handheld devices, targeting both casual players and performance-focused gamers in the growing portable gaming segment.
