Design

Exterior

The Montech King 95 Pro features a distinctive square design with gently curved sides on the front panel. Its standout feature is the curved glass integrated into the front, a rare touch in case designs. The 4 mm thick tempered glass, clipped on for a seamless look, gives it a premium feel but needs careful handling. Available in black, white, blue, and red, the black version we’re reviewing offers a sleek and refined appearance.

The Montech King 95 Pro features a curved front panel that’s easily removable due to its separated design from the side. It also comes with a modular front option, allowing you to swap the glass panel for a mesh grille, improving cooling performance.

The left side of the case has fully transparent tempered glass, held in place by rear hand-turn screws and round-head tenons. The curved glass is built to be durable, with an anti-fall design that adds stability.

The curved front panel is made from 4mm industrial-grade tempered glass, known for its strength and durability. It’s highly resistant to scratches and impacts, offering excellent shock protection. The glass can also withstand pressure tests of up to 2400kg, making it reliable in tough conditions.

The Montech King 95 Pro’s front glass shows a two-chamber layout, with the right side housing the power supply and drives hidden behind a curved, brushed aluminum-looking element. On closer inspection, it’s plastic with a textured finish. This section also holds the I/O panel, which includes the power and LED buttons, two audio jacks, two USB 3.0 ports, and a USB-C port. A milky white stripe, illuminated by A-RGB LEDs, highlights the transition to the glass.

The Montech King 95 Pro case is built with thick steel plates over 0.8mm and designed for efficient cooling. Mesh panels on the bottom, right side, and top enhance airflow, while a stylish pattern on the right and top panels adds visual appeal. Dust filters on all mesh surfaces help keep the case clean and functional.

The MONTECH KING 95 PRO case has a clever double-compartment design at the rear for better hardware organization. The left side houses the main components, while the right is set aside for the power supply and hard drives. This layout simplifies installation and helps with cable management, keeping everything neat and hidden.

At the rear bottom left, the case includes a PSU bay with mounting holes and space for a potential hard drive cage. To the right, there are seven bridgeless expansion slots with reusable covers, and at the top, 2.5/3.5″ drive trays behind a removable cover make storage installation easy. A 120mm ARGB exhaust fan sits in the top right corner, ensuring good airflow and cooling.

Interior

After removing the top, front, and side panels, the case’s interior reveals ample flexibility. The motherboard compartment supports ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX formats, along with air-cooling towers up to 175 mm and graphics cards up to 420 mm. If the side fan bracket is moved to the front, the space for the graphics card reduces to 390 mm. For cooling, it comes with six pre-installed fans—three at the bottom, two on the sides, and one at the rear.

The top panel of the case provides flexible cooling options, accommodating either three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans. It also supports liquid cooling with 360mm, 280mm, or 240mm radiators. A removable fan bracket makes installation easier by offering more space and simplifying the mounting of fans or radiators.

The chassis comes equipped with two 140mm ARGB fans featuring reverse blade technology to enhance airflow without blocking the lighting effects. It supports either a 280mm or 240mm radiator in this area, or users can move the fan bracket to the front and replace the panel with an iron mesh. This setup improves cooling by drawing air in from the front, ensuring efficient heat management during heavy use.

The three 120mm A.RGB fans at the bottom of the case use a reverse-blade design, similar to the ones on the sides. This design boosts the lighting effects for a vibrant look while improving cooling by pulling in fresh air from below. The fans help keep the system cool and also enhance its visual appeal, making them essential for both performance and style.

The case comes with a pre-installed 120mm ARGB fan at the rear, offering efficient cooling and customizable RGB lighting for added visual appeal. It also includes seven PCIe expansion slots, providing room for multiple graphics cards or other expansion cards. This makes it a solid choice for building a high-performance system with plenty of space for future upgrades.

At the back, a large cable management board neatly hides all wires and can hold two 2.5″ SSDs or two 120/140mm fans. An additional 2.5″ SSD can be mounted on the hard drive rack to the right. The board swings out like a door and locks with screws, revealing the case’s wiring and a pre-installed fan on the left. On the right, there’s space for the power supply and hard drive installation, with separate compartments that make organizing wires easier.

At the top of the Montech case, a nameplate highlights its identity, while the fan bracket houses a lighting controller hub. This hub supports up to 10 compact 4-pin fan power supplies and 3-pin 5V RGB headers. The side LED strip connects directly to the chassis’s LED switch, offering easy control over the lighting.

Montech’s setup stands out for its focus on stability and versatility. It includes dual SATA power plugs for reliable power to the controller and detachable 4-pin fan and 3-pin RGB connectors for easy motherboard integration. Users can manage fan speeds and lighting through software, and a F_PANEL jumper adds convenience. HD AUDIO, USB 19Pin, and USB 20Pin headers align with the I/O panel’s USB ports and audio jacks, offering a complete feature set for modern PC builders.

The case’s upper right corner has a removable hard drive bracket, allowing for a 2.5″ SSD to be installed on top. Inside, a drawer-style design fits both 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives, supporting two drives at once. By removing the bracket, it can be converted into a dual power supply setup, with a 19cm length limit, making it easy to fit even compact power supplies. Below the power supply, a small O-shaped platform with a non-slip rubber pad provides support and keeps excess cables organized.

Installation

Installing the motherboard in the Montech King 95 Pro is simple, thanks to the pre-installed spacers and screws. The ATX board fits snugly, though wider boards may slightly overhang the edge. There’s plenty of room for a GPU like the Palit GeForce 4080, and while mounting an AIO cooler on the side can reduce GPU clearance to 275 mm, most setups should be fine. SSDs are easily mounted with tool-less installation, using thumb screws and rubber rings, and traditional hard drives slot smoothly into plastic trays.

The King 95 Pro offers generous space for long PSUs up to 190 mm, is ideal for high-efficiency units, and is easy to install with rubber-lined support for stability and cooling. It accommodates a 360 mm AIO with good cable management options, making motherboard connections simple. Though the tight bends for ATX power, USB-C, and USB 3.0 cables near the edge can be challenging, the rear cable management is kept neat with Velcro strips, eliminating the need for zip ties and allowing easy access to components.

The Montech King 95 Pro stands out with its six ARGB fans and a striking front ARGB panel that highlights its design. The square fan shapes blend smoothly with the rounded chassis edges for a balanced look. The built-in ARGB hub simplifies lighting control, creating a vibrant and unified setup. A blue LED in the power button adds a sleek finishing touch when powered on, enhancing the build’s overall style.

The chassis includes two black-framed glass panels that provide a clear view of the internal components from both sides, giving it a sleek, modern look. Its well-organized, sandwich-style layout keeps everything in place for easy access and maintenance. Additionally, the front mesh panel can be swapped out while the system is running, making customization simple and convenient.
