Pulsar Gaming Gears has officially revealed the X2H CrazyLight BadSeed Tech Edition, a new limited-run gaming mouse developed in collaboration with Brian Phillips. The release combines Pulsar’s existing lightweight platform with a design influenced by the creator’s visual identity and long-standing approach to product evaluation.
Brian Phillips has built a following through detailed and critical reviews of gaming peripherals, often focusing on build quality, performance consistency, and real-world usability. His involvement in this project centers on shaping the overall presentation while keeping the core hardware unchanged. According to Pulsar, the collaboration was driven by a shared focus on product quality and user experience.

The X2H CrazyLight maintains a symmetrical design with a pronounced rear hump and a narrow midsection. This layout is commonly suited for claw grip users, especially those who prefer a relaxed hand position. The mouse is offered in two sizes, with the Mini (Size 1) weighing 37 grams and the Medium (Size 2) at 43 grams. Reducing weight remains a key direction in modern esports mice, as it allows quicker movements and less strain during extended sessions. Pulsar notes that achieving these figures required internal adjustments without weakening the outer shell.

The X2H CrazyLight uses Pulsar’s XS-1 optical sensor, offering up to 32,000 DPI and 750 IPS tracking for precise, high-speed input. With Turbo Mode enabled, the sensor achieves a 20,000 FPS scanning rate, aligning its performance with other flagship gaming mice on the market. The mouse also supports an 8,000 Hz polling rate in wireless mode, enabling faster input reporting. This feature is particularly relevant for users with high refresh rate monitors, where reduced latency can have a noticeable impact.

Optical switches rated for 100 million clicks are included, designed to remove debounce delay and provide consistent actuation over time. This edition introduces a black-to-blue gradient finish that runs across the body of the mouse. The design takes cues from lighting setups often seen in BadSeed Tech content. Branding is kept minimal, with the BadSeed logo placed near the side buttons and the name featured along the shell.
Pulsar describes this version as a visual reinterpretation rather than a hardware redesign, focusing on how the product reflects the creator’s style.

The Pulsar X2H CrazyLight BadSeed Tech Edition will be available starting April 24, 2026, through Pulsar’s official website and Best Buy. The mouse carries a price of $139.95 and is limited to 3,000 units worldwide. Availability will depend on regional retail partners once initial stock is allocated. With its low weight, updated wireless performance, and limited availability, the release targets users looking for a lightweight mouse with a different visual approach tied to a well-known reviewer in the space.
