ATK Launches Blazing Sky Zero+ and Zero EX+ Gaming Mice with PAW 3955 Sensor and Up to 8,000 Hz Polling

ATK is refreshing its Blazing Sky Zero wireless gaming mouse lineup only months after releasing the original model. The company has introduced the Blazing Sky Zero+ and Blazing Sky Zero EX+, bringing a new PixArt sensor, updated electronics, 8 kHz polling, and changes to the mouse shape while keeping the design focused on low weight and competitive gaming.

The original Blazing Sky Zero arrived in March 2026 with a listed weight of 39 g. The new models increase that to 44 g, but ATK has used the extra room for newer hardware. The Zero+ is equipped with the PixArt PAW 3955 Master sensor, while the Zero EX+ adds the sensor alongside a newer Nordic 54H20 MCU. ATK says the updated hardware can deliver end-to-end latency as low as 0.163 ms.

The PAW 3955 Master pushes the sensor specification to 40,000 DPI, with tracking of up to 850 IPS and acceleration up to 75 G. ATK has also included a dedicated 20,000 FPS mode. These figures are mainly relevant to sensor testing rather than everyday gaming, but they put the Zero+ and Zero EX+ in line with the current high-end gaming mouse market.

Both versions also support 8,000 Hz polling, with the Zero+ offering the rate over both wired and wireless connections. The higher polling rate reduces the interval between mouse reports, although the practical difference compared with 1,000 Hz will depend on the game, display refresh rate, and PC hardware.

ATK has made some physical changes as well. The Zero+ and Zero EX+ retain the low-front, high-back profile of the original mouse, but the rear section is now wider, and the front slope has been revised. ATK says the changes are intended to provide better palm support and stability, while smoother sidewall curves should give users a more secure grip. The shape continues to target claw and claw-palm hybrid grips.

The dimensions remain compact at 120.1 × 63.2 × 38.1 mm, with both models weighing 44 g. Battery capacity differs between the two versions, however. The Zero+ is rated for up to 200 hours at 1,000 Hz, while the Zero EX+ is rated for up to 130 hours under the same testing conditions. Using 8 kHz polling is expected to reduce those figures.

The two mice also support ATK Hub through its web and local applications. Users can adjust settings including lift-off distance and sensitivity, while the Zero+ adds virtual sensor offset and dynamic sensitivity controls. ATK’s custom optical switches remain on the Zero+, and the scroll wheel uses a TTC Gold encoder.

Pricing puts the Zero+ at the more accessible end of the lineup. It launched at $79.98, compared with a listed $109.98 price, and is offered in Frosted Translucent and Translucent Purple. The Zero EX+ costs $109.98, against a $149.98 MSRP, and comes in Frosted Ice, Frosted Black, and Frosted Orange.

With the new models, ATK is not changing the core Blazing Sky Zero formula. Instead, the company is updating the hardware around the same lightweight shape and adding features that have become increasingly common in premium gaming mice. The 44 g weight remains low, while the new sensor, 8 kHz wireless polling, and revised shell give the Zero+ and Zero EX+ a more current hardware package than the original Zero.
