Pulsar Gaming Gears and VAXEE have launched the Pulsar eS Xlite, a wireless gaming mouse developed through an exclusive partnership between the two companies. The new model targets competitive gamers with a lightweight ergonomic design, an updated XS2 sensor, and an 8,000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes. The mouse is available now with a suggested retail price of $179.95.

The eS Xlite builds on the shape of the original Xlite, with changes intended to improve grip stability and palm support. Pulsar has made the body slimmer, raised the rear section, and shifted the center of gravity toward the back. The company has also moved the sensor forward to align more closely with the user’s index and middle fingers. These adjustments are designed to provide a more natural grip during extended gaming sessions.
Pulsar equips the mouse with its next-generation XS2 sensor, which supports up to 42,000 DPI, 800 IPS tracking speed, and 70G acceleration. Its 8,000Hz polling rate allows the mouse to report its position up to 8,000 times per second. However, the practical benefit of the higher polling rate depends on the game, system performance, and individual settings.

The mouse weighs 51 grams and uses Pulsar Optical Switches, which are designed to help prevent double-clicking issues associated with conventional mechanical switch contacts. A dual-core-class microcontroller handles processing, while a 500mAh battery provides 2.5 times the capacity of the 200mAh battery in its predecessor, according to Pulsar.
“Pulsar and VAXEE developed the eS Xlite to combine refined ergonomics with high-speed tracking and on-device controls for competitive gaming,” the companies’ product announcement indicates.
Pulsar claims up to 119 hours of battery life when using a 1,000Hz polling rate. Battery life will vary with settings and usage, and higher polling rates can increase power consumption. The mouse also comes with the Link 8K Dongle, which includes physical controls for changing DPI, polling rates, and profiles without requiring users to turn the mouse over or open configuration software.

The Pulsar eS Xlite is available in the company’s signature eS blue color and is entering regular production rather than being limited to a small-edition release. At $179.95, it joins the premium wireless gaming mouse market with an emphasis on ergonomics, lightweight construction, and high polling rates.
