ORICO Launches Obook 15 AI Laptop With Ryzen 7 6800H and Radeon 680M

ORICO, known for its storage devices and connectivity accessories, has entered the laptop market with the Obook 15 AI. The new 15.6-inch notebook uses AMD’s Ryzen 7 6800H processor and integrated Radeon 680M graphics, alongside up to 24GB of memory and expandable NVMe storage. The company is targeting students, office workers, and content creators with a range of configurations starting at $689.99 in the United States.

The AMD Ryzen 7 6800H is an eight-core, 16-thread mobile processor with boost clocks of up to 4.7GHz. Although it is not among AMD’s newest laptop processors, its combination of CPU cores and integrated graphics can handle everyday productivity, web browsing, media playback, and lighter creative workloads. The Obook 15 AI comes with either 12GB or 24GB of memory rated at 6,400 MT/s, while storage options extend up to a 1TB NVMe SSD. A second M.2 slot allows storage expansion up to 4TB, according to ORICO.

The laptop features a 15.6-inch IPS display with a 1920 × 1080 resolution, an anti-glare finish, 170-degree viewing angles, and wide-frequency dimming. Other features include a 180-degree hinge, a physical webcam shutter, a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. A 54.29Wh battery powers the system, and ORICO includes a 100W charger. Windows 11 comes preinstalled, with Eco, Normal, and Performance cooling modes available to adjust fan behavior.

ORICO is also highlighting its XiaoAo AI Super Agent software, which combines 11 specialized AI assistants. The company says the platform is designed to automate workflows, manage a knowledge base, and control devices remotely. As with other AI-powered software features, the practical benefits will depend on the available tools, application compatibility, and how these assistants perform in everyday use.

“XiaoAo AI Super Agent combines 11 specialized AI assistants to help automate workflows, manage a knowledge base, and control devices remotely,” ORICO says in its product description.

The ORICO Obook 15 AI is now available in the United States and the Philippines. The entry-level configuration pairs 12GB of memory with a 256GB SSD for $689.99. A 12GB RAM model with a 512GB SSD costs $749.99, while the highest-tier version includes 24GB of memory and a 1TB SSD for $899.99. With expandable storage and a large Full HD display, the Obook 15 AI gives buyers another option in the midrange productivity laptop market, although its older processor platform will need to be weighed against competing notebooks in the same price range.
