MCHOSE has brought another high-polling-rate gaming mouse to the market, with the new A7 V3-X now available through the company’s offline stores. The lightweight model combines a 59g body with a PixArt PAW3955 sensor, optical switches, and 8KHz polling over both wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections.
The MCHOSE A7 V3-X measures 125.8 × 63.2 × 39.7 mm and comes with a built-in 500mAh battery. The mouse is covered with a Super Glide glass surface and is available in two gradient finishes: Floating Shadow and Phantom Cherry Blossom. These options give the A7 V3-X a different look from the usual solid-color gaming mice while keeping the focus on its competitive gaming hardware.
MCHOSE has built the mouse around its “Shadow Hunter” solution and internal “Pterosaur” architecture. At the center is Nordic’s nRF54L main controller, paired with PixArt’s PAW3955 sensor. The sensor is joined by optical button microswitches designed for fast actuation, while the scroll wheel uses an aluminum alloy construction and a TTC Gold wheel encoder. The side buttons also feature an electroplated finish.
The 8KHz polling rate is one of the main specifications of the A7 V3-X. MCHOSE says the mouse can maintain an 8000Hz polling rate in both USB-C wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes. The company also claims a button latency as low as 0.162ms, targeting players who prioritize fast input response in competitive games.
The 500mAh battery provides power when using the mouse wirelessly, although MCHOSE has not yet detailed its expected battery runtime at different polling rates. The tri-mode connectivity also gives users flexibility between wired and wireless operation.
At around 59g, the A7 V3-X sits in the lightweight gaming mouse category without relying on an extremely small chassis. Its combination of a PAW3955 sensor, 8KHz polling, optical switches, glass surface, and 500mAh battery makes it a hardware-focused option for gamers looking for low input latency and a lightweight design.
