AULA has introduced its new HERO 68 MINI Air gaming keyboard, bringing low-profile magnetic switches and high polling rate support to the compact keyboard market. The company describes the HERO 68 MINI Air as the world’s first tri-mode low-profile magnetic switch keyboard capable of delivering an 8kHz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes.
The keyboard uses a compact 65% layout that keeps the overall footprint smaller while retaining commonly used keys for gaming and productivity tasks. AULA has also added aluminum alloy decorative side panels and a rear ARGB light box to give the keyboard a more premium design compared to standard compact models.

The HERO 68 MINI Air uses custom-designed Tarantula low-profile magnetic switches with a total key travel distance of 3.1mm. According to AULA, the keyboard supports Rapid Trigger functionality with accuracy down to 0.005mm, allowing keys to reset dynamically based on movement distance rather than fixed actuation points.
The HERO 68 MINI Air also supports a 128kHz single-key scan rate and a 48kHz full-key scan rate. Combined with the 8kHz polling rate support across wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity modes, the keyboard is aimed at competitive gamers looking for reduced input latency.
Internally, AULA has included five layers of sound-dampening material designed to improve typing acoustics and reduce hollow feedback during use. The PCB uses a top-mounted LED layout to improve RGB lighting visibility through the keycaps and switch housing.

The keyboard is powered by a built-in 6000mAh battery and includes an NTC high-temperature protection system designed to monitor thermal conditions during charging and extended operation. AULA ships the keyboard with ABS keycaps as part of the default package.
With magnetic switch keyboards becoming increasingly popular in the gaming market, the HERO 68 MINI Air expands the category further by combining low-profile switches, tri-mode connectivity, and high wireless polling support in a compact form factor. AULA has not yet confirmed official pricing or regional availability for the keyboard.
