FEVM Unveils 2.6-Liter Mini PCs With Desktop CPUs and RTX 5090 Mobile Graphics

FEVM is pushing the limits of compact gaming PCs with its latest FA80G and FN80G systems, which can combine high-end desktop processors with NVIDIA’s powerful laptop GPUs in a chassis measuring just 2.6 liters. The FA80G is the more aggressive configuration, offering up to AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Mobile with 24 GB of memory. The FN80G takes a similar approach with Intel processors, reaching up to the Core Ultra 7 270KP.

Both mini PCs measure 180 × 168 × 88 mm and are designed for users who want considerably more performance than typical compact desktops can provide. FEVM says the cooling system is capable of keeping the CPU below 85°C and the GPU below 80°C, while system noise remains under 42 dB. Those numbers are particularly important for the RTX 5090 Mobile configuration, where the GPU can draw up to 150 W, and the combined CPU and GPU power reaches 250 W.

The graphics options start with the GeForce RTX 5060 and extend to the desktop RTX 5060 Ti, RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, and RTX 5090 Mobile. While the FA80G and FN80G are compact, they still provide room for up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory through two SODIMM slots and up to 4 TB of storage using two M.2 2280 NVMe slots. Both systems are sold as barebones units, so buyers will need to install their own RAM and SSDs.

Connectivity also varies between the two models. The Intel-powered FN80G includes Thunderbolt 4 alongside 10 GbE and 2.5 GbE networking, while the AMD-based FA80G has dual 2.5 GbE ports. Both systems include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C and Type-A ports, as well as a full-size SD card reader on the front panel.

The FEVM FA80G and FN80G are currently available only in China. Pricing starts at roughly $1,045 for the Core Ultra 5 230F and RTX 5060 8 GB configuration. At the other end of the lineup, the FA80G with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5090 Mobile 24 GB is priced around $3,310. International pricing has not been announced, and the final cost is expected to be higher if these mini PCs launch in other markets.
