ATK has revealed two new gaming mice for its growing esports-focused lineup, the A9 Ultimate Master Edition+ and the A9 Air Master Edition+. Both models are equipped with a custom PixArt PAW3955Master sensor and are designed for players looking for lightweight wireless mice with high polling rate support.
The two mice share the same medium-sized shell design, measuring 125×63.5×40 mm, but ATK has made several hardware changes between the two variants to target different types of users. The company is primarily differentiating the models by battery capacity, switch configuration, and overall weight.
The A9 Ultimate Master Edition+ is aimed at users who prefer longer battery life while keeping the mouse lightweight for competitive gaming. It features an 800mAh battery and weighs 55±3g. ATK has also included its custom optical button microswitches on this model. Optical switches are becoming more common in gaming mice due to their faster response times and reduced debounce delay compared to traditional mechanical switches.
Meanwhile, the A9 Air Master Edition+ focuses more on reducing overall weight. The mouse comes with a smaller 300mAh battery, bringing its weight down to 47±3g. ATK says the Air model uses its high-speed optical button microswitches while maintaining the same chassis and internal platform found in the Ultimate version.
Internally, both mice are powered by the Nordic nRF54L SoC main controller paired with ATK’s self-developed 54 series JueShark MAX mouse solution. The company is also using a TTC gold wheel encoder for the scroll wheel mechanism.
Support for an 8kHz polling rate is available on both models in wired USB Type-C mode as well as wireless 2.4GHz mode. This feature is becoming more common among high-end gaming mice, particularly for competitive FPS players who prefer lower latency and faster cursor response during gameplay.
ATK has not yet shared full sensor specifications for the custom PAW3955Master implementation, including maximum DPI, tracking speed, or acceleration figures. Pricing and release dates for the A9 Ultimate Master Edition+ and A9 Air Master Edition+ have also not been announced so far.
