IO Interactive, the independent game developer known for the HITMAN franchise, has announced the debut of its first IOI Showcase event. The presentation will be streamed live from Los Angeles on Friday, June 6, at 6:00 PM PDT. It will be available to watch through IO Interactive’s official Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok channels.
This event will mark a milestone for the studio as it celebrates 25 years since the launch of the original Hitman: Codename 47. Along with looking back on its history, IO Interactive will use the showcase to provide new information about its current and upcoming titles, including HITMAN World of Assassination, MindsEye, and 007 First Light. The studio will also offer a behind-the-scenes look at its proprietary Glacier engine, which powers its current game lineup.
The presentation will feature trailers, gameplay reveals, developer interviews, and a live Q&A session. Representatives from IO Interactive, Build A Rocket Boy, and other collaborators will be present to discuss upcoming projects and publishing initiatives under the IOI Partners label.
As part of the lineup, IO Interactive has confirmed new content and updates for HITMAN World of Assassination. While exact details remain under wraps, the studio plans to commemorate the franchise’s 25th anniversary with special announcements and collaborations tied to the long-running stealth action series.
MindsEye, a narrative-driven action-adventure title developed by Build A Rocket Boy and published by IOI Partners, is also on the schedule. Described as an expanding experience with new premium content released monthly, MindsEye is set to launch on June 10, 2025. The showcase will include gameplay footage and additional details about how the title will evolve post-launch.
Another key focus of the event is 007 First Light, IO Interactive’s standalone James Bond game. The title is expected to mark the first major new entry in the James Bond video game space in over a decade. The studio has been quiet about the project since its announcement, but the IOI Showcase will provide the first detailed look at the title and its direction.
Fans watching the broadcast on TikTok and Twitch can also expect to unlock platform-specific digital rewards during the show. These exclusive drops will be available to viewers tuned in live.
IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak described the event as a way to highlight the company’s legacy and offer a look ahead at its future roadmap. “IOI Showcase celebrates our 25-year history with the HITMAN franchise and shares an in-depth look at the diverse future of our studio,” said Abrak in a statement.
The IOI Showcase is scheduled to run as a hybrid event, combining live-streamed segments with an in-person component. IO Interactive has not shared how long the presentation will last but has promised appearances from special guests and more announcements throughout the broadcast.
The event begins at 6:00 PM PDT on June 6 and is free to stream via IO Interactive’s official social media channels.
