Razer has introduced the Hammerhead V3 Chroma, a new pair of wired USB-C gaming earbuds featuring active noise cancellation (ANC), dual audio drivers, and customizable Chroma RGB lighting. Designed for mobile gaming, PC gaming, and handheld devices, the new earbuds offer a wired alternative to wireless gaming audio products, with Razer highlighting low-latency audio transmission and plug-and-play connectivity.

The Hammerhead V3 Chroma uses an 11mm dynamic driver alongside a dedicated 6mm tweeter to reproduce low and high frequencies. It also features feed-forward ANC to reduce background noise during gaming sessions, commutes, and everyday use. PC users can access THX Surround Sound 7.1 through Razer Synapse, providing virtual surround audio for improved positional awareness in supported games.
Razer has included four dedicated EQ presets for Gaming, Music, Movies, and Calls, along with a custom equalizer option for users who want to adjust the sound profile. The earbuds connect through USB-C, eliminating the need for wireless pairing or battery charging.

For handheld gaming, the Hammerhead V3 Chroma features a 90-degree USB-C connector with a low-profile design. The angled connection sits closer to the device, helping prevent the cable connector from interfering with the user’s grip when playing on smartphones and gaming handhelds in landscape orientation.
The earbuds also feature an IPX4 water-resistance rating for protection against sweat and splashes. An integrated in-line remote provides access to volume adjustments, media playback, and ANC controls without requiring users to leave their games. It also houses an omnidirectional microphone for voice chats and calls.

Razer has added Chroma RGB lighting to both earbuds, with support for 16.8 million colors and customizable lighting effects. Users can adjust the lighting to match other compatible Razer peripherals through the company’s Chroma ecosystem.
The Razer Hammerhead V3 Chroma combines wired USB-C connectivity, active noise cancellation, dual-driver audio, and PC-based THX Surround Sound 7.1 in a compact gaming-focused design. Razer has not yet disclosed the earbuds’ official price or release date.
