Lofree has launched the Flow Lite 2, a new low-profile mechanical keyboard featuring updated linear switches, improved typing acoustics, and a larger battery. The successor to the original Flow Lite arrives in 84-key and 100-key layouts, with prices starting at $109. The company is also offering a 20% Black Friday discount throughout November, bringing the starting price down to $87.20.
The Flow Lite 2 comes with newly tuned Echo linear switches rated at 45gf operating force, compared to the 40gf switches found in the previous model. Each switch uses a POM stem and bottom housing with a PC top housing. Lofree says the updated switches deliver more defined keypress feedback while maintaining a smooth linear typing experience.
The internal construction has also been revised with a 1.2mm flex-cut PCB and uniform 3mm sound-dampening foam. These changes are intended to produce more consistent typing acoustics across the keyboard. Another addition is an integrated status display that shows connection mode, battery level, and operating system mode.
Battery capacity has increased as well. The 84-key Flow Lite 2 features a 3,000mAh battery, representing a 50% increase over the original Flow Lite. According to Lofree, the keyboard can deliver up to 100 hours of battery life over Bluetooth with its backlighting turned off.
The exterior has moved away from the wedge-shaped design of the previous generation, adopting a flatter ABS chassis and updated double-shot keycaps with more defined contours inspired by the Flow 2 series. Other features include USB wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity, along with hot-swappable switches and adjustable typing angles of 0 and 8 degrees.
The keyboard also supports customization through VIA and Lofree Hub, with compatibility across Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices. Buyers can choose between White and Black color options and two layout configurations.
The Lofree Flow Lite 2 is priced at $109 for the 84-key version and $119 for the 100-key model. However, the company’s Black Friday promotion, running from November 1 through November 30, 2026, reduces the prices by 20%. This brings the 84-key version down to $87.20 and the 100-key model to $95.20. The keyboard is available directly from Lofree.
