Wallhack M-001 Launch Date Confirmed: 53g Magnesium Gaming Mouse Gets 8K Polling and Swappable Batteries

WALLHACK is putting a high price on its first gaming mouse. The company has officially revealed the M-001, a 53-gram wireless gaming mouse built around a magnesium-alloy shell, flagship-class sensor hardware, 8,000 Hz wireless polling, and a battery system designed to eliminate the need to stop playing when the battery runs out. The M-001 is priced at $189.99, making it one of the more expensive lightweight gaming mice on the market.

The M-001 uses a die-cast AZ91D magnesium-aluminum-zinc alloy chassis with CNC post-processing. WALLHACK has also taken a different approach to weight reduction by keeping the top surface closed while machining out the underside to expose the internal structure. The mouse measures 120 x 64 x 39 mm and uses a symmetrical small-to-medium shape designed for claw, fingertip, and smaller-hand palm grips.

Inside, the M-001 combines a PixArt PAW3950 sensor with Nordic’s nRF54L15 MCU. The sensor supports up to 30,000 DPI, while wireless polling can reach 8,000 Hz with around 2 ms of wireless latency. Users can also change DPI and polling rate directly through controls on the receiver.

The mouse uses Omron D2FP-FN2 optical switches rated for up to 70 million clicks, along with a TTC Gold dust-resistant encoder and an aluminum scroll wheel. WALLHACK says the optical switches remove traditional debounce latency and are designed to avoid double-clicking issues.

The battery system is arguably the M-001’s biggest difference from conventional wireless mice. Two 250 mAh batteries are included, with one installed in the mouse and the other charging through the wireless receiver. When the active battery runs out, users can swap it for the charged unit in seconds instead of connecting a cable or switching to wired mode. This approach is particularly useful with 8K polling enabled, which can increase power consumption.

WALLHACK has also confirmed that the M-001 is designed around a fully wireless setup and does not use a traditional USB-C charging port on the mouse itself. The company’s WALLHACK Terminal software handles settings such as DPI, polling rate, motion sync, lift-off distance, and firmware updates.

The $189.99 price will be the biggest hurdle for the M-001. Lightweight gaming mice with high-end sensors and 8K polling are now available across a much wider range of prices, so WALLHACK is relying heavily on its magnesium construction, 53g weight, premium receiver, and hot-swappable battery system to justify the cost. The M-001 is currently listed for $189.99, while regional pricing varies.
