Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Adds Lasombra, Toreador Clans and Reveals 2026 Story Expansions

Paradox Interactive and White Wolf, in partnership with The Chinese Room, announced that the Lasombra and Toreador clans will be included in the base version of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 at launch. Originally planned for post-release content, both clans are now part of the core game following community feedback.

The publishers also confirmed two additional story expansions: Loose Cannon and The Flower & the Flame. These story packs are part of the Premium Edition Expansion Pass and are set to launch in 2026.

Story Expansions

  • Loose Cannon: Focuses on Brujah Sheriff Benny Muldoon, highlighting his uncompromising role in the Camarilla Court. The pack includes a Benny-themed outfit for the main character, Phyre. Release is scheduled for Q2 2026, priced at $14.99 / £12.99 / €14.99.
  • The Flower & the Flame: Centers on Toreador Primogen Ysabella Moore, exploring her ambitions and artistic legacy within the city of Seattle. This pack also includes a Ysabella-inspired outfit for Phyre. Release is planned for Q3 2026 at the same price point.

Both packs are bundled with the Premium Edition Expansion Pass, which will be available separately from October 21, 2025, for $34.99 / £28.99 / €34.99.

  • Day One Edition
($59.99 / £49.99 / €59.99): Includes the base game and the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox pre-order bonus. Some retailers will also provide a Cross of St. James necklace.
  • Deluxe Edition
($69.99 / £58.50 / €69.99): Includes the base game and the Santa Monica Memories cosmetic pack, inspired by the original 2004 release. The cosmetic pack can also be purchased separately for $11.99 / £9.99 / €11.99.
  • Premium Edition
($89.99 / £74.99 / €89.99): Includes the base game, Expansion Pass, Santa Monica Memories, and exclusive physical items such as character cards, a Steelbook case, and a collector’s journal. Availability may vary by region.

Players assume the role of Elder vampire Phyre, navigating nine nights in Seattle’s World of Darkness. The narrative explores political tensions within the Camarilla Court while Phyre regains their powers. The story is guided by Fabien, a Malkavian detective whose perspective adds complexity to the journey.

The base game offers six playable clans: Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra. Each clan introduces distinct Disciplines and abilities, while players must maintain the Masquerade—the secrecy that protects vampire society from human discovery.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will launch in 2025 for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, as well as for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
