Rumors surrounding a possible return to the Titanfall franchise have resurfaced following new leaks shared by two prominent Apex Legends data miners. Earlier today, a cryptic logo labeled “Titanfall 3” was posted to social media by Osvaldatore, followed by a more detailed statement from fellow leaker YOROTSUKI, who claimed Respawn Entertainment is quietly developing a new entry in the series.
Speculation about a new Titanfall project has been circulating since early March, when reports emerged of a canceled “unannounced incubation project” at Respawn. At the time, industry insiders believed the scrapped title was a multiplayer-focused game tied to the Titanfall universe, rather than a direct sequel to Titanfall 2, which launched in 2016.

Despite Respawn shifting its focus to Apex Legends—a successful battle royale game set in the same universe—the demand for a proper continuation of the Titanfall story has remained steady among fans. The recent leaks have reignited those hopes.
In a post following the logo reveal, YOROTSUKI denied the possibility of it being an April Fool’s joke, referring back to older Discord discussions from December 2024. In those conversations, the leaker mentioned Respawn was developing a “secret game,” now speculated to be Titanfall 3. According to their statement, the game could be revealed during The Game Awards 2025, with a potential launch scheduled for 2026.

As with any unofficial leak, the information should be treated with caution. Gaming outlet MP1st noted that speculation surrounding Respawn’s internal projects has often led to confusion. One such project—codenamed “Project Bruno”—is now believed to be Bit Reactor’s upcoming Star Wars turn-based tactics game, which may be formally announced later this month.
Electronic Arts has not commented on the recent rumors, and Respawn has yet to confirm the existence of any new Titanfall project. Until official information becomes available, the future of the franchise remains uncertain.
