Pulsar has launched the X2F CrazyLight, a new gaming mouse that cuts its weight to just 29±2 grams while targeting players who prefer a finger-grip style. Priced at $149.95, the mouse combines an extremely lightweight construction with an 8KHz polling rate, a 42,000 CPI optical sensor, adjustable lift-off distance, and optical main switches.
The X2F CrazyLight measures 87.5 × 61.1 × 31.6 mm and uses an ABS/nylon composite shell. The low weight is one of the key characteristics of the mouse, with Pulsar designing the shape around finger-grip users rather than trying to make it a general-purpose model for every grip style.
Inside, the X2F CrazyLight uses the Nordic nRF52L15 main controller and Pulsar’s XS-2 optical sensor. The sensor supports up to 42K CPI, an 800 IPS tracking speed, and 70G acceleration. These specifications give the mouse plenty of tracking headroom for fast movements, particularly in competitive games where players frequently make rapid flicks and reposition the mouse.
Pulsar has also fitted the X2F CrazyLight with 100-million-click optical switches for both the left and right buttons. The scroll wheel uses a TTC Gold encoder, while the mouse supports a 20K high-frame-rate mode for its sensor.
The adjustable lift-off distance can be set in 0.1mm increments, giving users more control over how the sensor responds when the mouse is lifted and repositioned. The mouse also supports an 8,000Hz polling rate, which reduces the time between reports sent to the PC.
The wireless mouse is powered by a 210mAh battery. Pulsar has positioned the X2F CrazyLight at $149.95, putting it firmly in the premium lightweight gaming mouse segment.
