NZXT has announced a themed version of its H5 Flow mid-tower PC chassis to mark the 15th anniversary of the NieR series. The reveal took place during a livestream celebrating the ninth anniversary of NieR: Automata. Rather than introducing a new enclosure platform, the company is building this release around its existing H5 Flow design, focusing on exterior artwork tied to the franchise.
The H5 Flow platform received updates in 2024, and the anniversary edition follows the same structural layout. It remains a compact mid-tower built with airflow in mind, featuring a mesh-oriented front panel and an internal layout designed for modern hardware. Builders can expect support for contemporary GPUs, ATX motherboards, and standard cooling configurations similar to the regular retail model. From a performance and compatibility perspective, this version should behave the same as any current H5 Flow chassis.

The visual treatment is the main point of differentiation. NZXT has applied character artwork to both side panels instead of limiting the theme to a single accent. One side features 2B from NieR: Automata, while the opposite panel showcases Kainé from NieR Replicant. This dual-sided approach allows the system to display franchise art regardless of desk orientation, which may appeal to users who place their PC in open or visible setups.
Aside from the exterior graphics and branding elements, there are no changes to the internal frame, airflow path, or mounting options. Cooling support, cable management channels, and drive mounting follow the same specifications as the standard H5 Flow. As a result, prospective buyers should evaluate this edition based on aesthetics rather than additional hardware features.
NZXT has set the price at $179.55, with availability scheduled for March 2. As with most licensed anniversary releases, the premium reflects the official collaboration and collectible appeal. For users already planning a build around the H5 Flow, this version offers an alternative finish tied to the NieR franchise. Others comparing airflow-focused mid-towers in the same price range will need to weigh the themed exterior against competing non-branded options.
