MotoGP 26 Now Available with Updated Physics, Career Changes, and Cross-Play Support

Milestone and MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group have released MotoGP 26, bringing this year’s official season to consoles and PC. The new entry introduces updates across gameplay systems, with changes to physics, rider performance tracking, and career progression shaping the overall experience.

The handling model has been reworked to place greater emphasis on rider input. Instead of relying mainly on the bike, control now depends heavily on how players position their rider during braking, cornering, and acceleration. Weight transfer and body movement directly impact stability, making each turn feel more connected to player input. New animations support this system, offering smoother transitions and more control across both simulation-oriented and casual modes.

A new Dynamic Rider Ratings feature tracks performance throughout the season. Each rider is evaluated across time attack, race pace, head-to-head results, and reliability. These ratings change over time based on real-world results, giving players an updated view of the competitive grid and reflecting how riders perform during the ongoing MotoGP season.

Career mode also receives notable changes. A redesigned 3D paddock serves as the main hub, where players manage race weekends and interact with different elements of the sport. Press conferences now play a role in shaping rivalries and objectives, while a Personal Manager assists with contracts and team negotiations. The transfer market adds more flexibility, allowing changes in team lineups as seasons progress. Players can also start with real riders from any class and guide them through the ranks, beginning in Moto3 and aiming for the premier class.

Additional content includes an expanded Race Off mode, featuring Canterbury Park alongside existing locations. Production Bikes make their debut in single-brand events, introducing 1000cc machines across different disciplines such as Flat Track and Minibikes. Progression is supported by collectible card packs, with over 100 items covering riders, tracks, and bikes, including artwork from Ranka Fujiwara.

Multiplayer features cross-play support, improved matchmaking, and grids of up to 22 players. Local split-screen is also available, while customization tools let players design helmets and liveries and share them online. A new helmet design contest will bring one winning creation into a real MotoGP race weekend.

MotoGP 26 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, ASUS ROG Ally devices, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store.
