Build A Rocket Boy Games has confirmed that MindsEye, the upcoming action-adventure Game led by former Rockstar Games producer Leslie Benzies, will officially launch on June 10. The game, which features a deep narrative, high-stakes action, and an immersive open-world environment, has been revealed in a new story trailer that introduces its setting, characters, and central conflict.
A City Ruled by AI and Corporate Power
Set in Redrock City, a sprawling, futuristic metropolis in the heart of a vast desert, MindsEye explores themes of corporate control, artificial intelligence, and the intersection of technology and personal identity. The city is filled with consumer-grade robots and cutting-edge systems that keep daily life running under a strict, technology-driven order. However, beneath the surface, tensions brew between those who embrace the advancements and those who resist.
Players step into the role of Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by fragmented memories from a classified mission. Diaz is implanted with MindsEye, a neural device that blurs the line between reality and illusion, forcing him to question his past and uncover a deeper conspiracy. As he seeks answers, he becomes entangled in a battle against two powerful figures shaping Redrock’s future.
Opposition and Power Struggles
Diaz’s journey puts him in direct conflict with Mayor Shiva Vega, an authoritative leader who seeks total control over Redrock City, and Marco Silva, an eccentric technology mogul with ambitions to push human evolution beyond its natural limits. As their agendas clash, Diaz must navigate a world of corruption, betrayal, and high-tech warfare to uncover the truth behind the MindsEye implant and its true purpose.

Development and Release Details
Originally introduced as part of Everywhere, the game-creation platform from Build A Rocket Boy, MindsEye has since evolved into a full-fledged standalone experience. The game was first announced in 2022, and in October 2023, the studio confirmed a publishing deal with IOI Partners, the publishing arm of Hitman developer IO Interactive. The title was officially unveiled during the PlayStation State of Play in February 2024.
While MindsEye will be accessible through the Everywhere platform, Build A Rocket Boy has clarified that it will be available as a standalone purchase for players who want a complete single-player experience. The game is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with a retail price of $59.99.
