LIAN LI., a renowned manufacturer of PC chassis and accessories, has unveiled the UNI FAN TL Wireless series, expanding its lineup of wireless signal-controlled products. The new series, designed to streamline cable management and enhance PC aesthetics, utilizes a 2.4 GHz wireless signal for ARGB lighting and fan speed control, eliminating the need for a traditional hub.
The series includes two models: the UNI FAN TL LCD Wireless, equipped with a 1.6-inch LCD display for customizable visuals, and the UNI FAN TL Wireless, featuring high-performance Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) blades for optimized cooling. Both models incorporate an infinity mirror effect, dual LED zones, and are available in black and white color options. Designed in a standard 120 mm size, these fans support regular and reverse airflow configurations for greater flexibility.
UNI FAN TL LCD Wireless
The UNI FAN TL LCD Wireless introduces a 1.6-inch LCD IPS display positioned at the center of the fan. With a resolution of 400×400 and a refresh rate of 60 FPS, it supports MP4, GIF, JPG, and PNG file formats, enabling users to personalize their builds with vibrant and dynamic visuals. Compared to its predecessor, the UNI FAN TL LCD, which offered a 30 FPS display, the new model delivers smoother animations and enhanced visual clarity.
Infinity mirrors surround the fan edges, complemented by a thin LED strip that wraps around the mounting screw area for a sleek and modern appearance. Performance-wise, the fan leverages fluid dynamic bearings (FDB) to achieve an airflow of 62 CFM, air pressure of 2.9 mmH2O, and an operational noise level of 27 dBA at a maximum speed of 1900 RPM.
To simplify installation and operation, the LCD receiver connects via a PWM cable for power and a USB cable for the LCD signal, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
UNI FAN TL Wireless
The UNI FAN TL Wireless focuses on performance with LCP blades designed for high-speed tolerance and reduced vibration. Coupled with FDB technology, the fan achieves an impressive airflow of 90.1 CFM, air pressure of 3.97 mmH2O, and a noise level of 33 dBA at a maximum speed of 2600 RPM.
Aesthetically, the fan features an aluminum logo at its center, concealing the copper shielding of the bearing while maintaining a premium look. Each fan or group connects wirelessly to the system via a receiver powered through a motherboard PWM header, eliminating cable clutter and simplifying setup.
L-Wireless SYNC Controller and Universal Receiver
Both models in the UNI FAN TL Wireless series are managed via the L-Wireless SYNC Controller, a compact USB device that operates on a 2.4 GHz wireless signal. The controller allows users to adjust fan speeds and lighting effects, either through a connection to the motherboard’s rear I/O USB port or via a USB 2.0 header and PWM header. It supports up to 10 fan groups, ensuring scalability for complex builds.
The TL Wireless series fans utilize a clip-on receiver compatible with both the TL and SL Wireless series. The TL Wireless receiver powers LEDs and the fan motor via a PWM cable, while the TL LCD Wireless receiver requires an additional USB 2.0 connection for the LCD signal. For larger setups, users can opt for a SATA-powered 9-pin USB hub or LIAN LI’s EDGE PSU with an integrated 4-port USB hub to manage additional LCD fan groups.
Availability and Pricing
The UNI FAN TL Wireless series will be available for pre-order starting December 20, 2024. These fans mark a significant step forward in wireless technology for PC builds, offering users enhanced customization, simplified installation, and robust cooling performance.
