Lenovo has officially introduced the Legion C700, a new Cloud Gaming Handheld that will launch in August. The device has been developed in close partnership with Tencent START Cloud Gaming, giving users access to a cloud-based gaming platform with support for hundreds of games. Instead of downloading and installing titles locally, players can stream supported games directly from the cloud, making it easier to start gaming with minimal setup.
According to Lenovo, the Legion C700 has been deeply customized for the Tencent START Cloud Gaming platform. The company says the service supports native controller input, allowing games to feel more like they would on a dedicated gaming console. This approach is intended to deliver a familiar gaming experience while reducing storage requirements, since game files do not need to be stored on the handheld itself.
The Legion C700 features a 7.82-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother visuals for supported games.
