KRAFTON has officially introduced PUBG: Blindspot, a new team-based top-down tactical shooter Game that was previously known as Project Arc. The game follows a 5v5 format and incorporates fast-paced combat mechanics inspired by PUBG while adding unique gameplay elements centered around real-time team coordination.
Gameplay Mechanics and Features
PUBG: Blindspot introduces a real-time line-of-sight system shared among teammates, allowing for instant cooperation without the need for verbal communication. This mechanic enhances the tactical depth of the game by providing real-time intelligence on enemy movements and positioning, encouraging players to adapt dynamically in close-quarters battle scenarios.
Objective-Based Bomb Missions
The game features a distinct take on bomb missions, where the attacking team must install a Decrypter to hack into a hidden Crypt inside the building. To achieve this, attackers can utilize a variety of tools such as grenade launchers and explosive hammers to breach walls and obstacles. These tactics create multiple approaches to ambush enemies or directly access the objective.

On the other hand, defenders are tasked with preventing the attackers from reaching the Crypt. They can install the Decrypter by securing doors, placing barricades, and using environmental obstacles to slow down or redirect enemy movements. This creates a dynamic battlefield where both strategic planning and real-time adaptability play crucial roles in securing victory.
Weapon Arsenal and Gadgets
PUBG: Blindspot features an extensive selection of weapons, including assault rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, designated marksman rifles (DMR), and pistols. Additionally, specialized equipment such as grenade launchers and close-quarters explosives are available, offering players a range of combat styles.
Familiar weapons from PUBG, such as the Mk14, AWM, and P90, make an appearance alongside unique gadgets. Players will have access to tools like Blue Zone Grenades, which create temporary hazards, Reconnaissance Drones for scouting enemy positions, and throwable equipment such as flashbangs and smoke grenades to disrupt enemy vision and positioning.
Playable Demo and Steam Next Fest Participation
A playable demo for PUBG: Blindspot will be available starting February 21 as part of Steam Next Fest. The demo includes ten unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and specialized tools. Players will have access to three team deathmatch maps designed for intense skirmishes, as well as four demolition mission maps, each with distinct themes and layouts.
PUBG: Blindspot aims to provide a fresh take on team-based tactical shooters, combining PUBG’s fast-paced action with new strategic elements. With its focus on cooperative play, destructible environments, and diverse character abilities, the game looks to offer a compelling experience for fans of competitive shooters.
