Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have revealed Legacy of the Forge, the upcoming story expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The new content continues Henry’s journey as he returns to Kuttenberg to pursue mastery in the city’s blacksmith guild. The expansion launches worldwide on September 9 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro.
In Legacy of the Forge, Henry sets out to restore a burnt-down forge once used by his father, Martin, during his apprenticeship. This storyline sheds light on previously unknown aspects of Martin’s past, connecting Henry more closely to his family’s legacy. Players will explore Kuttenberg, meet new characters, and uncover details of his father’s hidden history while rising through the ranks of the blacksmith guild.
Blacksmithing progression is a major addition in this expansion. Henry can take on commissions to repair weapons, forge armour, and complete various requests from townsfolk. As his reputation grows, he unlocks unique blueprints for advanced weapons and armour, further establishing his standing as a master blacksmith.

A central feature of the DLC is the new home customization system. Players can personalise Henry’s forge, living quarters, and surrounding grounds, with more than 100 million design combinations available. Each choice balances aesthetics and utility, with upgrades influencing gameplay and providing Henry with a base of operations that grows alongside his journey.
Alongside the main storyline, Legacy of the Forge introduces additional daily quests and opportunities to earn currency, ensuring continued engagement beyond the central narrative.
