Keychron has officially introduced the G3 Air, a new lightweight wireless gaming mouse that combines a compact design with flagship gaming hardware. Built for competitive gaming and fast-paced workloads, the mouse features a carbon fiber-enhanced shell, the latest PAW3950 optical sensor, and support for both wired and wireless 8K polling rates.
The Keychron G3 Air measures 120 × 63 × 38.3mm, making it suitable for users with small to medium-sized hands. It will be offered in black and white color options. The shape includes an inward-curving waist for a more secure grip and a wider rear section that provides additional palm support during long gaming sessions.
The G3 Air features a lightweight design, weighing just 43±3g. Its shell is made with 30% carbon fiber, reducing weight while keeping the structure durable. A matte anti-slip coating provides a secure grip during long gaming sessions, while 100% PTFE feet on the bottom help the mouse glide smoothly across a variety of mouse pad surfaces.
For performance, the G3 Air is equipped with a Nordic 54L15 controller paired with the flagship PAW3950 optical sensor. The combination supports 2.4GHz wireless and wired 8K polling rates, offering low input latency and precise tracking for competitive gamers. Whether playing esports titles or handling quick desktop movements, the high polling rate is designed to deliver responsive performance.
The mouse also uses TTC Falcon mechanical microswitches rated for up to 80 million clicks, providing long-term durability for frequent gaming and daily use.
The included color 8K receiver does more than act as a wireless dongle. It features a built-in display that shows key information in real time, including the current DPI level, polling rate, gaming mode, and battery status. This allows users to check important settings at a glance without opening companion software, making it more convenient during gameplay.
