Razer has introduced the Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz Series, a new addition to its esports gaming keyboard lineup featuring Hall Effect magnetic switches, true 8000Hz HyperPolling, and customizable input controls. The new keyboard series is designed for competitive gamers who want faster response times, adjustable actuation, and more control over key inputs.
The Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz lineup is available in two compact layouts: Tenkeyless (TKL) and Mini 65%. Both versions use Razer Hall Effect Magnetic Switches, which detect key movement through magnetic sensing technology instead of traditional mechanical contact points.
The adjustable actuation system allows users to set keys according to their gaming needs. Competitive players can configure keys for quicker responses, while users who also type regularly can choose a deeper actuation point for a more controlled feel.
Razer’s Rapid Trigger Mode allows keys to reset immediately based on movement rather than waiting for a fixed reset point. This can help during fast-paced games where repeated key presses and quick directional changes are common.
The keyboard also features true 8000Hz HyperPolling, which increases communication frequency between the keyboard and PC. Razer claims the Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz achieved an average latency of 0.60 ms during internal testing with 0.1 mm actuation and 8000Hz polling enabled.
For advanced customization, Razer Snap Flex allows players to assign separate actions to key press and key release movements. Dynamic Keystroke enables multiple actions on a single key depending on the actuation depth, allowing users to create more complex controls.
The Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz series can be customized through Razer Synapse software on PC. It also supports Synapse Web, allowing users to adjust settings through a browser without installing additional software. Players can save profiles and use their preferred configurations across different systems.
