GMKtec has presented its latest AI-focused mini-PC workstations at an AliExpress event in Shenzhen, expanding its compact desktop lineup with updated Intel and AMD platforms. The announcement builds on the EVO-T2 series, which first appeared during Intel’s Core Ultra (Panther Lake) launch event in Shanghai earlier this year.
The new EVO-T2S model is powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, featuring a 16-core configuration and up to 180 TOPS of AI compute performance. The system is aimed at local AI inference workloads, including running large language models on-device, while also serving as a high-end compact desktop. GMKtec equips the unit with LPDDR5X-8533 memory and PCIe 5.0 storage solutions from Phison Electronics, using its aiDAPTIV+ platform. Cooling is handled by a vapor-chamber design rated for up to 60 W, helping maintain stable operation under sustained workloads.

Alongside the Intel-based system, GMKtec continues to offer its EVO-X2 lineup built around the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. This chip delivers 16 cores and 32 threads, paired with an XDNA 2 NPU capable of up to 126 TOPS. The EVO-X2 supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory and integrates 10 GbE networking, making it suitable for both AI processing and GPU-accelerated applications. Multi-display support is also included, allowing up to four 4K outputs for workstation setups.
In addition to the hardware refresh, GMKtec has adjusted pricing across both product families. The EVO-X2, which initially launched last year with its 128 GB model priced at $1,999, now lists the 64 GB + 1 TB configuration at the same price. Meanwhile, the higher-end 128 GB + 2 TB version has increased to $3,299, reflecting a shift in positioning toward more demanding workloads.

On the Intel side, the EVO-T2S configuration featuring 64 GB of memory and 1 TB of storage is currently listed at $1,899, down from its earlier $2,399 price. The company has yet to confirm availability or pricing for additional configurations, including models based on the Core Ultra X9 388H processor.
GMKtec’s latest updates show a continued focus on compact systems designed for local AI processing, with both Intel and AMD platforms offering a balance between compute performance and small-form-factor design.
