GMKtec has announced the G5S mini PC, adding another compact Mini PC to its growing lineup of small-form-factor systems. The new model is powered by Intel’s Jasper Lake-based Celeron N5095 processor, a quad-core chip introduced in 2021 that continues to serve entry-level computing needs. The system is designed for users looking for an affordable desktop for office work, web browsing, media playback, online learning, and other everyday tasks.
The G5S features an ultra-compact chassis that measures just 72 × 72 × 44.5 mm, making it small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand or behind a monitor. Weighing only 206 grams, the mini PC is also easy to carry, making it suitable for users who frequently move between workspaces or need a compact desktop for limited desk space.
To maintain stable operating temperatures, GMKtec has equipped the G5S with an active cooling solution that combines a built-in cooling fan with a copper heat pipe. This design helps dissipate heat during extended use while keeping noise levels under control.
The mini PC includes 8GB of onboard LPDDR4-2400 memory, paired with an M.2 2242 SSD slot for storage. GMKtec will offer the device in 128GB and 512GB storage variants, giving buyers the option to choose a configuration that best matches their storage requirements.
Connectivity is another area where the G5S provides a practical selection of ports. It features three USB 3.2 ports for connecting peripherals, two HDMI 2.0 outputs that support dual-monitor setups, and a Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port for wired networking. The system also receives power via a USB Type-C connector, reducing cable clutter by eliminating the need for a proprietary power adapter.
