Capcom’s PRAGMATA Is Out Now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC

Capcom has officially launched PRAGMATA, with the title now available worldwide across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The release follows several years of updates and delays, with the publisher confirming that players can now access the full experience globally.

Set on a lunar research station that has suddenly gone silent, PRAGMATA centers on spacefarer Hugh Williams, who is sent to investigate the loss of communication with Earth. Shortly after arriving, he encounters danger and is rescued by an android named Diana. Taking the appearance of a young girl, Diana becomes a key companion throughout the journey, helping Hugh navigate the station and uncover what happened behind the scenes.

The gameplay combines third-person shooting with puzzle-based mechanics. Diana’s hacking ability allows players to interfere with enemy systems, exposing weak points that Hugh can target with firearms. This dual-character approach plays a central role in combat encounters, especially against more advanced enemies and boss fights. Between these sequences, players can return to the Shelter, a safe zone where upgrades can be applied, and character interactions expand on the story.

Producer Naoto Oyama stated that the team has spent years refining the project, with a focus on delivering a mix of action and narrative-driven exploration. The game’s structure reflects that goal, shifting between intense combat scenarios and quieter moments that develop the connection between Hugh and Diana.

PRAGMATA is available in a standard edition priced at $59.99, alongside a Deluxe Edition at $69.99. The Deluxe version includes the Shelter Variety Pack, featuring additional outfits, weapon skins, emotes, extra music tracks, and a digital art collection. Capcom has also released a free “PRAGMATA Sketchbook” demo across all major storefronts, giving players a preview of its mechanics.

The game includes full voice support across multiple languages, along with additional subtitle options. A portion of the original soundtrack is also live on streaming platforms, with more tracks scheduled to be released starting April 24, 2026.

With PRAGMATA now out, Capcom expands its lineup with a new science fiction IP, offering a mix of action, puzzles, and a character-focused story set beyond Earth.
