SEAVIV has announced its next compact desktop solution, the AidaMini R3 Max, shortly after the release of the AidaMini R10, expanding its mini PC lineup. The AMD Ryzen powers the new model AI 9 HX 470 processor, based on the “Gorgon Point” architecture. It offers three configurable power profiles at 45W, 54W, and 65W, allowing users to adjust performance levels depending on workload demands, including content creation and AI-assisted tasks.
The AidaMini R3 Max comes in a “Star Trail Silver” finish and uses a sandwich-style internal design to manage thermals and component layout. Its compact chassis measures 131 × 138 × 49.9 mm and weighs around 550 grams, making it suitable for desk setups where space is limited. Internally, the system features two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, giving users flexibility for memory upgrades, along with two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 x4 slots for high-speed storage expansion.
In terms of connectivity, SEAVIV has equipped the mini PC with a Wi-Fi 7 wireless card, targeting faster and more stable network performance. The inclusion of a dedicated OCuLink interface allows users to connect external GPUs or high-bandwidth devices, which is still uncommon in this category. The I/O configuration also includes two USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and dual 2.5GbE LAN ports, covering both modern display outputs and high-speed networking requirements.
SEAVIV is also integrating its in-house AI assistant into the AidaMini R3 Max. The system supports SeavivClaw, enabling one-click deployment of OpenClaw for users interested in local AI workloads. While pricing and release dates have not been disclosed, the feature set suggests the AidaMini R3 Max is aimed at users looking for a compact system with flexible performance tuning and expanded connectivity options.
