be quiet! has announced two new additions to its popular Pure Base 501 series: the Pure Base 501 LX and the Pure Base 501 DX pc cases. These cases retain the core philosophy of the series—delivering a compact and functional design while adding enhanced ARGB lighting features and improved airflow, catering to both gaming and professional setups.
Elevated ARGB Lighting and Optimized Cooling
The Pure Base 501 LX takes the existing Pure Base 501 Airflow Window to the next level with four pre-installed Light Wings LX fans. Three 120 mm PWM fans are positioned at the front for efficient air intake, while a 140 mm PWM fan at the rear ensures optimal exhaust. These fans feature frosted blades and an ARGB-illuminated impeller, making them an ideal choice for users who appreciate vibrant lighting in their builds. Additionally, an integrated hub allows for control of up to six ARGB devices and PWM fans, enabling seamless synchronization of lighting effects across the entire system.
The Pure Base 501 DX, on the other hand, focuses on a refined aesthetic with ARGB lighting integrated directly into the redesigned high-airflow front panel. This model comes equipped with three Pure Wings 3 140 mm PWM fans—one more than the standard model—delivering improved cooling while complementing the case’s striking ARGB accents. Inside the case, the lighting continues, providing a cohesive and visually appealing illumination setup.
Compact Yet Feature-Packed Design
Despite their compact size, the be quiet! Pure Base 501 LX and DX cases offer extensive compatibility and support for high-performance components. They accommodate ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, along with support for triple-fan cooling or 360 mm radiators in the front. The cases are designed to house high-end graphics cards, with an optional vertical mounting option for those who prefer a showcase-style build.
Additionally, both models include a decoupled dual HDD cage, offering flexible storage configurations.
