be quiet! has entered the gaming mouse market with the launch of two new models, Dark Perk Ergo and Dark Perk Sym. This release marks the company’s first move into gaming mice, expanding its product range into a new category of gaming peripherals.
Both mice are designed with a lightweight build, each weighing 55 grams, and support wireless operation. At the center of both models is the PixArt PAW3950 sensor, offering sensitivity levels of up to 32,000 DPI and a polling rate of up to 8,000 Hz, including in wireless mode. The mice are powered by a Nordic nRF54H20 microcontroller, which be quiet! says enables stable performance and extended battery life of up to 110 hours at a 1,000 Hz polling rate.
The Dark Perk Ergo features an ergonomic shell designed for right-handed users, aiming to provide comfort during extended gaming sessions. The Dark Perk Sym uses a symmetrical shape, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed users. Internally, both mice share the same hardware, including optical Omron D2FP-FN2 switches and five programmable buttons.
Customization options are handled through the be quiet! IO Center software for Windows, allowing users to adjust DPI levels, polling rates, RGB lighting, and button functions. Settings can be saved directly to onboard memory. In addition, both mice support the IO Center Web, enabling configuration through Chromium-based browsers on Windows, macOS, Linux, and iOS without installing software.
Each mouse includes a braided 1.8-meter USB-A to USB-C cable for wired use and charging. Movement is supported by 100% PTFE skates with rounded edges to reduce friction on mousepads.
The Dark Perk Ergo and Dark Perk Sym are scheduled to be available from February 3, with a suggested retail price of $109.90 or €109.90.
