AULA Launches Kunlun X5 Gaming Mouse With PAW3955 EVO Sensor and Dual 8K Wireless Polling

AULA has introduced the Kunlun X5, a new Gaming Mouse equipped with a PAW3955 EVO sensor, electromagnetic microswitches, tri-mode connectivity, and support for up to 8K polling in both wired and wireless modes. The mouse is now listed on JD.com and joins the growing number of gaming peripherals offering high polling rates and customizable switch behavior.

The AULA Kunlun X5 is available in four color options: Moonlight White, Panda White, Soft Pink, and Glacier Blue. It uses a symmetrical shape with a skin-like coating across the shell, while the bottom is fitted with PTFE feet for lower friction during movement. Measuring 125.37 x 63.23 x 39.86 mm and weighing approximately 65 g, the mouse is aimed at medium to large hands and supports claw, palm, and fingertip grip styles.

AULA has equipped the Kunlun X5 with PixArt’s PAW3955 EVO sensor, rated for up to 56,000 DPI, a tracking speed of 750 IPS, and acceleration of up to 60 G. These specifications put the mouse in the high-performance gaming segment, particularly for players who prefer higher sensitivity options and fast tracking.

Connectivity includes wired USB, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.2. The mouse ships with an 8K receiver and supports polling rates of up to 8,000 Hz in both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes. AULA also says the mouse uses AI adaptive frequency-hopping anti-interference technology to improve connection stability when operating in areas with multiple wireless signals.

The left and right buttons use SSHS electromagnetic microswitches rather than traditional mechanical switches. Users can choose from 10 actuation points, five levels of RT quick reset, and five levels of independent tactile feedback adjustment. This gives the Kunlun X5 more control over click response and button feel, allowing users to tune the settings based on different games or personal preferences.

The mouse also includes a TTC Gold Wheel encoder rated for 2 million clicks. Its lift-off distance can be adjusted across five levels, ranging from 0.7 mm to 1.6 mm. A built-in 500 mAh battery is rated for more than 80 hours of use, although actual battery life will depend on the selected connection mode and polling rate. Running the mouse at its maximum 8K wireless setting will likely consume more power than Bluetooth or lower polling rate modes.

With a PAW3955 EVO sensor, adjustable electromagnetic switches, an included 8K receiver, and tri-mode connectivity, the AULA Kunlun X5 is positioned as a feature-heavy option for competitive and general PC gaming. The combination of customizable actuation settings and high polling rate support also reflects the increasing use of adjustable input technology in gaming mice, a feature previously seen more often in gaming keyboards.

AULA has currently made the Kunlun X5 available through JD.com, with four color choices covering neutral and brighter finishes. Information regarding wider international availability and pricing outside the Chinese market has not yet been detailed.
