Attack Shark is preparing to enter the growing market for analogue gaming mice, and its upcoming Mega B2 could take a different approach from many of the Hall effect models released in recent months. The company has teased the new gaming mouse on X, revealing electromagnetic switches and a design that appears aimed at users looking for adjustable analogue input without the usual mechanical click mechanism.
Logitech’s G Pro X2 Superstrike helped bring analogue mouse switches into greater focus, and several manufacturers have since followed with their own Hall effect and related designs. Keychron’s G6 HE and RAWM’s Leviathan V4 GT are among the models competing for attention, but Attack Shark’s Mega B2 may have a feature that sets it apart from much of the current competition.
Attack Shark’s teaser uses the phrase “No metal. No fatigue. No friction,” which suggests the Mega B2 may avoid physical contact within its main switches. That would be different from many Hall effect gaming mice, where the analogue sensing technology is combined with a conventional click leaf to provide the familiar tactile and audible response.
The company has confirmed that the Mega B2 will use electromagnetic switches, although it has not yet revealed whether the technology is based on Hall effect or TMR sensing. Attack Shark also describes the mouse as silent. If the teaser accurately reflects the final design, the Mega B2 could generate its click response without relying on a traditional physical contact event.
This approach could give Attack Shark more control over how the mouse feels during use. Logitech’s HITS system already allows users to customize aspects of the click experience through software, so the Mega B2 may offer similar functionality. However, Attack Shark has not yet explained how its implementation will work.

The company has also kept most of the hardware specifications under wraps. There is no confirmed price or release date, with Attack Shark only saying that the Mega B2 is “coming soon.” Based on the company’s recent flagship mice, however, the new model could feature hardware aimed at competitive players.
Potential specifications include a Nordic MCU, PixArt PAW3955 Max sensor, a weight in the 50–60g range, and 8K polling in both wired and wireless modes. Attack Shark could also use its web-based configuration software to let users adjust sensor settings, button behavior, and analogue switch characteristics.
