In a move that caters to the burgeoning demand for customizable NAS (Network Attached Storage) solutions, Jonsbo unveiled its latest offerings over the weekend: the N4 White and N4 Black series PC Case. These cube-shaped Micro-ATX cases are purpose-built for DIY enthusiasts keen on constructing their own NAS servers with ease and style.
The N4 series has robust storage capabilities. Boasting a total of eight drive caddies, users have ample space to accommodate their storage needs. Of these, six caddies support 3.5-inch drives, while the remaining two are designed for 2.5-inch drives. Notably, all eight bays come equipped with SATA 6 Gbps backplanes, allowing for convenient hot-swapping of drives—a feature highly valued in the realm of NAS setups.
The lower 60% of the case is dedicated to housing the drive caddies, an SFX PSU (Power Supply Unit) bay, and a 120 mm fan vent, ensuring efficient cooling for optimal performance. Meanwhile, the upper 40% hosts a Micro-ATX motherboard tray equipped with four half-height expansion slots. The lower compartment features a perforated front panel covering the drive bays, while the front side of the upper compartment is adorned with a tasteful wood embellishment. Measuring 286 mm x 300 mm x 228 mm (WxDxH) and weighing 3.75 kg, the compact yet sturdy design of the case makes it suitable for various environments and setups.
