GameSir has announced the Nova Vision Nioh 3 Edition, a new gaming controller officially licensed by KOEI TECMO and inspired by the upcoming action RPG Nioh 3. The special edition combines artwork based on the game’s dark fantasy setting with several hardware features, including Hall Effect sticks, adjustable stick tension, dual-mode triggers, and a built-in LCD screen.
The controller takes inspiration from the Guardian Spirit Kusanagi, featuring swirling underworld embers and golden calligraphy-carved ABXY buttons. GameSir has also designed a matching illuminated dock to complement the controller’s appearance. Its built-in LCD screen allows players to view and adjust controller settings directly without opening an external application.
The Nova Vision Nioh 3 Edition supports three connectivity options: 2.4GHz wireless, wired USB, and Bluetooth. The 2.4GHz and wired connections support PC and Nintendo Switch, while Bluetooth connectivity allows players to use the controller with compatible mobile devices.
For input controls, GameSir has integrated Hall Effect sticks designed to prevent traditional stick drift. Players can adjust the stick tension between 30gf and 80gf, allowing them to select lighter resistance for faster movements or higher tension for more controlled inputs. The dual-mode triggers also offer two operating options, switching between progressive analog input and clicky micro-switch activation for different gaming scenarios.
Other hardware features include a six-axis gyroscope for motion-based aiming in compatible games and two remappable rear buttons. These back buttons support macro recording of up to 12 steps, allowing players to assign multiple actions to a single press. GameSir has also included dual asymmetric grip motors with an instant start-stop circuit for responsive vibration feedback.
Further customization is available through the GameSir App and GameSir Connect software, where users can configure button mappings, stick response curves, lighting effects, and firmware settings.
The GameSir Nova Vision Nioh 3 Edition is available for pre-order through the official GameSir store. Interested buyers can check the company’s product listing for pricing, availability, and ordering details.
