Acemagic has introduced the W1-5400U mini PC in China, adding a budget-oriented model powered by AMD’s Ryzen 3 5400U processor. The Mini PC uses a Cezanne-series chip released in 2021 and targets users who need a small desktop for office work, web browsing, media playback, and other everyday computing tasks.
The AMD Ryzen 3 5400U features four CPU cores and eight threads, paired with integrated Radeon RX Vega 6 graphics. While the processor is older than many chips found in current mini PCs, it remains suitable for basic productivity workloads. Its integrated GPU can also handle lightweight games, although users should not expect performance comparable to newer Radeon graphics solutions. The GPU supports DirectX 12 Feature Level 12_1.
Acemagic says the W1-5400U has a chassis volume of just 0.68 liters, allowing it to fit into small workspaces. Despite its compact dimensions, the system supports two storage drives, with each slot reportedly accommodating an SSD with up to 8TB of capacity. This gives users the option to install up to 16TB of storage across both drives, provided compatible SSDs are used.
Promotional images show two USB-A ports and one USB-C port on the front panel. The chassis also appears nearly identical to the company’s existing W1 model powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processor. This resemblance suggests the two systems could share a similar cooling arrangement and rear port selection, but Acemagic has not confirmed the complete specifications of the W1-5400U’s rear I/O.
Acemagic has yet to announce the W1-5400U’s price or retail availability. The use of an older Ryzen 3 processor points toward the entry-level desktop market, where affordability and space-saving designs are priorities. An international release remains possible, as Acemagic already sells another W1 configuration outside China, but the company has not confirmed whether or when the Ryzen 3 version will reach other markets.
