Fujitsu Client Computing (FCCL) has launched the FMV Mouse X01MB, a computer mouse that uses electromagnetic induction for its main buttons and two scroll wheels. The company also officially released the FMV Keyboard X, a low-profile magnetic keyboard that was previously offered through crowdfunding. The new peripherals mark FCCL’s expansion into the computer accessory market alongside its laptop business.
The FMV Mouse X uses electromagnetic induction triggering for its left and right buttons, as well as its primary and secondary scroll wheels. Unlike conventional mice that rely on physical contact mechanisms, the design uses contactless input technology for these controls. FCCL says the system is designed to deliver crisp clicks and high-speed scrolling.
The mouse has an ergonomic shape developed around the average hand size in Japan. It offers a maximum resolution of 8,000 CPI and weighs approximately 70 grams, making it suitable for everyday office work and general desktop use. FCCL has also equipped the FMV Mouse X with tri-mode connectivity, allowing it to work across different connection setups.
