VGN Dragonfly 3 Turbo Gaming Mouse Series Gets PAW3955 Sensors and Dual 8K Support

For gamers who want high polling rates without adding a cable to their setup, VGN is preparing its Dragonfly 3 Turbo series with two performance-focused wireless gaming mice. The lineup includes the Dragonfly 3 Turbo and Dragonfly 3 Turbo+, with both models combining lightweight construction, flagship Nordic controllers, and support for 8K polling in wired and wireless modes.

The main difference between the two mice is the sensor. The VGN Dragonfly 3 Turbo uses the PAW 3950 Extreme, while the Dragonfly 3 Turbo+ moves to the PAW 3955 Extreme. This gives buyers two closely related options while keeping the rest of the core hardware largely similar.

VGN has equipped both mice with dual Nordic 54LM20 flagship controllers, which are used alongside the high-end sensors to handle the mouse’s wireless and high-speed polling functions. Both models support up to 8KHz polling over wired and wireless connections, making the series aimed at gamers who want high report rates for competitive gaming.

Despite the performance-oriented hardware, the Dragonfly 3 Turbo series keeps its weight around 56 ± 3 grams. Both mice measure 125 × 63.3 × 40mm and use a 500mAh battery for wireless operation. The size and shape are designed to accommodate different playing styles, including finger grip, claw grip, and palm grip.

The internal construction also follows VGN’s dragonfly-inspired approach, with a dragonfly-shaped internal keel structure. This design helps form the internal framework of the mouse while maintaining the lightweight construction.

Pricing, availability, and additional launch details will determine where the new mice sit within VGN’s growing gaming peripheral lineup.
