UGREEN is aiming at small businesses and creative teams that need more than a place to store files. The company is bringing its new NASync DXP6800 Ultra and DXP8800 Ultra to IFA 2026, with up to 272TB of storage, dual 10GbE networking, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and enough processing power to run virtual machines and Docker workloads.
The two systems represent the highest-performance tier in UGREEN’s NASync lineup. Rather than focusing only on backup and file storage, UGREEN is positioning the Ultra Series as a local platform for collaboration, centralized data management, and business applications. This approach could appeal to teams working with large media projects or businesses that want to keep their data and applications on hardware they control.
The six-bay NASync DXP6800 Ultra is designed for smaller teams and studios. It uses an Intel Core 5 120U processor and supports up to 208TB of storage. Dual 10GbE ports provide high-speed network connectivity, while two Thunderbolt 4 ports allow compatible PCs and workstations to connect directly to the NAS.
The larger NASync DXP8800 Ultra increases the drive count to eight bays and supports up to 272TB of storage. It upgrades the processor to an Intel Core 7 150U, giving the system more capacity for heavier multi-user workloads, larger datasets, Docker containers, and virtual machines.
Both models run UGREEN’s UGOS Pro software, which combines file management, user accounts, access permissions, backups, remote access, and supported cloud services. Users can also run applications such as databases, code repositories, and internal knowledge bases through Docker and virtual machines.
UGREEN also offers a separately sold LinkStation eGPU Dock that connects through Thunderbolt 4 and can provide GPU resources to supported Docker containers and virtual machines. An optional NAS UPS is available to provide backup power during outages.
The UGREEN NASync DXP6800 Ultra is priced at $1,449.99, while the DXP8800 Ultra costs $1,779.99. Both are available through Ugreen’s official store and Amazon.
