Rugged phones are getting more powerful, and the OUKITEL WP600 is pushing the category further by combining gaming-focused hardware with the protection expected from an outdoor smartphone. The new device pairs MediaTek’s Dimensity 8300 5G chipset with up to 24GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, dual-fan active cooling, and a huge 10,000mAh battery.
The Dimensity 8300 is built on a 4nm process and comes with a Mali-G615 GPU, giving the WP600 enough hardware for demanding games, multitasking, and other intensive workloads. OUKITEL claims the phone can achieve more than 1.4 million points in AnTuTu 10. The top configuration also uses LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, providing fast application loading and ample space for games, videos, and large files.

Cooling is one of the phone’s main selling points. The WP600 includes a dual-fan active cooling system designed to move heat away from the internal hardware during extended workloads. This should be particularly useful for gaming sessions, where sustained performance from the CPU and GPU can be affected by rising temperatures.
The phone also takes a different approach to rugged design. Its cyber-inspired exterior combines dual-color injection molding with aluminum-titanium alloy elements and customizable RGB lighting. Rather than following the usual industrial-looking rugged phone design, OUKITEL has given the WP600 a gaming-oriented appearance.
On the front, the WP600 features a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate should make scrolling, animations, and supported games appear smoother, while the larger panel provides more space for gaming and media consumption.

Power comes from a 10,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and reverse charging. The large battery is designed for extended gaming sessions as well as outdoor work, travel, and situations where access to a charger may be limited.
Photography is handled by a 108MP main camera with features including HDR, night mode, panorama, AI photography, and a professional shooting mode. The camera system also supports 4K video recording, giving users more flexibility when capturing photos and video outdoors.
Durability remains an important part of the WP600. The smartphone carries IP68 and IP69K protection and complies with MIL-STD-810H durability standards. This combination is intended to protect the device from water, dust, drops, and demanding outdoor conditions.
OUKITEL has also included a hardware-level privacy feature. A dedicated anti-leakage switch can physically disconnect the camera, microphone, and GPS, giving users a way to disable those components without relying only on software settings.
For connectivity, the WP600 supports global 5G networks along with dual Nano SIM and eSIM functionality. This makes the phone more suitable for international travel and users who need multiple cellular connections.
The OUKITEL WP600 is therefore targeting a fairly broad group of users, from mobile gamers and performance enthusiasts to outdoor explorers and field workers. Its combination of Dimensity 8300 hardware, active cooling, a 10,000mAh battery, and rugged protection makes it an unusual alternative to both conventional gaming phones and traditional rugged smartphones.
