ACEMAGIC has launched its new Starship M2A mini PC in China, combining an Intel Core i9-12900H processor with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. The Mini PC is designed for users looking for gaming and graphics performance in a compact desktop, with its mobile processor and discrete graphics configuration allowing it to handle more demanding workloads than typical integrated-graphics mini PCs.
The Starship M2A uses Intel’s 12th-generation Core i9-12900H, a hybrid processor featuring 14 cores and 20 threads, with six performance cores and eight efficiency cores. It supports boost frequencies of up to 5.0GHz and includes 24MB of L3 cache, alongside integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. ACEMAGIC pairs the processor with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD in its advertised configuration.
Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with 5,120 CUDA cores and a maximum power consumption of 115W. The graphics card supports ray tracing and NVIDIA Reflex technology, providing hardware support for modern PC games and GPU-accelerated applications. ACEMAGIC also advertises 16GB of GDDR6 video memory, although this specification differs from NVIDIA’s standard RTX 3070 Laptop GPU configuration, which comes with 8GB.
To manage the combined heat output, ACEMAGIC has developed a 4D cooling system featuring four large-diameter fans and seven copper heat pipes. The company claims the cooling solution improves thermal performance by 45% compared with conventional designs. It is rated to handle the processor’s 45W power consumption and the GPU’s 115W power limit.
The mini PC includes two DDR4 SO-DIMM memory slots and two M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD slots. Storage can be expanded to 4TB, giving users additional room for games and applications.
Display connectivity includes one USB4 Type-C port supporting 8K at 60Hz, two HDMI 2.0 ports supporting 4K at 60Hz, and one DisplayPort 1.4 connection with 8K at 60Hz support. The system can connect up to four displays simultaneously. Other connectivity options include dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
The rear panel also features six USB 3.2 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a power connector, and a security lock. ACEMAGIC ships the Starship M2A with a licensed Windows 11 installation, offering a one-year warranty for the complete system and three years of coverage for major hardware components.
