Machenike has officially revealed that its F1 fully customizable wireless gaming controller will soon be available in a new black color option. The upcoming version is more than a simple cosmetic update, as the company says it will feature an upgraded chip designed to deliver what it describes as an “e-sports performance evolution.” While Machenike has not yet shared the full hardware specifications, the new controller is expected to improve on the already fast performance of the current white model.
The existing white Machenike F1 has already gained attention for its competitive gaming features. It supports dual 8,000Hz polling rates and delivers extremely low wired latency, with button response measured at 0.377ms and joystick latency at 0.825ms. These figures make it suitable for players looking for quick response times in competitive titles.
The Machenike F1 series features a customizable joystick system with a built-in metal adjustment ring. The redesigned joystick limit structure helps reduce friction and prevent sticking during movement, delivering smoother control across different gaming scenarios.
The controller also introduces a tool-free microswitch replacement system for the D-pad and ABXY buttons. Users can replace the switches without opening the controller or using additional tools, making customization much easier. It supports standard triangular microswitches from well-known manufacturers, including Kailh, Cynthia, and Omron, allowing players to select the switch feel that best matches their preference.
Alongside support for replaceable mechanical switches, Machenike includes its own custom-tuned optical microswitch. The optical switch is rated for up to 100 million button presses, offering long-term durability while maintaining fast response throughout extended gaming sessions.
Trigger customization is another key feature of the F1 controller. Players can choose between three trigger resistance levels—70gf, 90gf, and 110gf—to better suit different game genres. A lighter trigger pull may benefit fast-paced shooters, while higher resistance can offer more precise control for racing games or simulation titles.
The controller also includes four programmable rear paddles that support multiple grip styles, including four-finger grip, C-hand grip, and six-finger layouts. This flexibility allows users to configure additional controls without taking their thumbs off the analog sticks, making the controller suitable for both casual players and competitive gamers.
