Rapoo has expanded its lineup of gaming peripherals by listing the new VT9s Air MAX V2 gaming mouse on JD.com. The latest model focuses on competitive gamers seeking a lightweight wireless mouse with a high-end sensor, high polling rates, and long battery life. Designed for users with small to medium-sized hands, the mouse weighs approximately 47 grams, making it one of the lighter options in Rapoo’s gaming portfolio.
The VT9s Air MAX V2 features an embedded keel structure that helps maintain a lightweight body while keeping the overall construction durable. Its compact shape is intended to provide a comfortable grip during extended gaming sessions without adding unnecessary weight.

Powering the mouse are dual NORDIC 54LM20 chips, enabling native dual 8KHz polling rates in both wired and wireless modes. An 8,000Hz polling rate allows the mouse to report its position to the computer up to 8,000 times per second, reducing input latency and improving responsiveness during fast-paced gameplay.
Tracking performance is handled by the PixArt PAW3955 Ultimate optical sensor, one of the latest flagship sensors available for gaming mice. The sensor is built to deliver precise movement tracking and consistent performance across different surfaces, making it suitable for competitive titles where accuracy is important.

Rapoo has also equipped the VT9s Air MAX V2 with its custom optical microswitches, rated for 120 million clicks. Optical switches use light-based actuation instead of traditional metal contacts, helping reduce debounce delay while improving durability. The mouse also features a custom optical scroll wheel encoder with a lifespan rated for 2 million scrolls.
Battery life is another key feature of the new gaming mouse. A built-in 300mAh battery can provide up to 275 hours of usage on a single charge, according to Rapoo. The company also includes fast charging support, claiming that just one minute of charging delivers around 6.5 hours of use, allowing gamers to quickly get back into action without waiting for a full recharge.
