Darmoshark Announced M2 SE Gaming Mouse With 45g Lightweight Design, PAW3950 Sensor, and 8kHz Polling

Darmoshark has officially introduced the M2 SE, a new lightweight gaming mouse built for users with small to medium-sized hands. The new model combines a compact design with flagship-grade hardware, offering features aimed at both competitive and everyday PC gamers. Weighing approximately 45g, the M2 SE focuses on reducing hand fatigue while maintaining the performance expected from a modern wireless gaming mouse.

The Darmoshark M2 SE measures 116 × 60 × 36 mm, making it suitable for claw grip and fingertip grip users. Its exterior features a matte UV coating that provides a comfortable surface while helping resist fingerprints and wear during long gaming sessions. The underside is fitted with large PTFE feet to improve glide and deliver smoother movement across a variety of mouse pads.

The M2 SE uses the PixArt PAW3950 Optical Sensor, delivering accurate tracking and responsive cursor movement across different gaming scenarios. Alongside it is the Nordic nRF54L15 Controller, which handles wireless connectivity and power management to maintain stable performance whether you’re using 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or a wired connection.

The mouse supports tri-mode connectivity, allowing users to connect through USB-C wired mode, 2.4GHz wireless, or Bluetooth. For gamers looking for lower input latency, the M2 SE supports an 8,000Hz polling rate in both wired USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless modes, delivering faster response times on supported systems.

Darmoshark has also focused on durability. The primary left and right buttons use 80-million-click microswitches with translucent pink dots, while the scroll wheel is equipped with a TTC Gold encoder for consistent scrolling and improved tactile feedback. The side buttons feature a separated layout, making them easier to identify during gameplay without accidental presses.

Power comes from a built-in 300mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 180 hours of wireless use when operating at a 1,000Hz polling rate. This gives users extended battery life for gaming, work, and general everyday use before requiring a recharge.
